His first solo exhibition at the gallery is taking a look back at 45 years of research and exploration in forming metal and developing shapes interacting with bodies. Throughout his career, De Buck has reflected upon the form, the meaning and the usage of rings, sculptures, necklaces, cutlery, candle holders, bracelets, walking sticks, chocolate boxes and tables to name but a few.

Born in 1949 Siegfried de Buck is a goldsmith, a silversmith and a jeweler, demonstrating an equal mastery in each field.
De Buck is an artist whose singular identity and whose approach have been rewarded with a worldwide exposure, numerous prestigious prizes, and with his works entering the collections of international museums.
As a prominent figure of the Belgian contemporary cultural scene De Buck is currently President of the Royal Flemish Academy of Science and Arts.
About the Gallery:
Since 2007 the gallery is dedicated to the field of contemporary jewelry. In 2016 we are pursuing our mission and our goals in a bigger, brighter and bolder space.
