Intro
We are very proud to present the work of six active members of Joya Brava, who travelled to Barcelona and showed their personal work at one of the main Art jewelry “hot spots” of Europe.

Artist list

Paulina Amenábar, Liliana Ojeda, Ana Nadjar, Pamela De La Fuente, Vania Ruiz, Massiel del Mar
Ana Nadjar
A Second Chance.
I am interested in working with the absurd and the nonsense.Joining found objects, elements that are never together, offering the observer another lecture, to surprise them.

Vania Ruiz
Pacífica.
Vania lives in the city of Viña del Mar at the coast of Chile, and the closeness with the sea has a strong influence on her work. Inspired by lost memories and found treasures, shipwrecks along the Pacific Ocean, her jewelry evoques antique pieces, devoured by time under the sea.

Pamela de la Fuente
Ergo Gallery.
Pamela is an established jeweller and art Historian.  Alejandra Wolff is an art critic, both founded ERGO gallery, a space that gathers contemporary art and jewellery. The focus of the gallery was the relationships between body, object and context, also experimentation that revolves around body and subjectivity, artifice and nature. For this version they invited a group chilean artists, among them three artists from Joya Brava: Massiel del Mar, Liliana Ojeda and Paulina Amenábar.

Massiel del Mar for ERGO
Star powder.
From dust you come, in dust you will become…
Amulets from my humanity to worship the fragility of the moment, the pass of time.

Liliana Ojeda for ERGO
Medullary.
We live our lives as if we don´t know we are going to die…In this collection I talk about a yearning for preservation, a critic to people’s suprahumanity attitude in life. Through the practice of momification, wrapping emotions, using materials that bring a new preciousness. The piece “Emotion Channel” was selected by A-FAD association for the Enjoia´t prices.

Paulina Amenábar for ERGO
Disrupted Landscape.
Paulina is a painter and raphic artist, in her jewelry work she questions the limits of bidimensional and trhee dimentional aspects of the objects
