This important event was organized under the auspices of Ateliers d’Art de France and with the support of the City of Paris, in partnership with Les Ateliers de Paris and the association D’un Bijou à l’autre and encouraged by a group of jewelry makers, gallery owners, institutions who joined together to develop an specific event, entirely dedicated to jewelry.
Galleries, public and institutional spaces, venues commonly related (or not) to jewelry held several events in a time span from one night to six months with the same ambition: To highlight the artistic issues in jewelry.
From designer’s jewelry to contemporary jewelry, from « joaillerie » to Couture jewelry, from Middle Ages jewelry to those of the 21th century, the extent of the creation in jewelry is rich. This event allowed to show, at the same time, its incredible diversity.
