I´m in Cuyo, North of Argentina, a beautiful valley where live the “Huarpes”,  native American people who are extraordinarily pacific ones and experts in deep secrets of the Nature. A woman weaves in her loom; she warms herself with fire that she calls “kïtek”. She still doesn´t know that this evening a dark and terrible beast is coming to the little village. A monster with an ambition beyond measure: the damned “Spanish man” who will take her far away from home and who will sell her like maid. Later he will lock her man in a gold mine, he will beat her son to death in his plantation and he will rape her daughter. Finally he will take possession of her valley making slaves all her people. She still doesn´t imagine her loved language, the “Allentiac” will be forgotten forever. She still doesn’t know and she feels happy, playing with her fingers, with the thread, with the time. . In my imagination happiness must be something like to be very fresh and calm down of a cherry tree like a character of Chejov. I have hidden a piece of gold inside of one of the cherries because for me de real value of the person is inside but not in the appearances. So this is a game jewell and you can play with a child in this way: Could you find the little piece of gold, inside of the hard of one of the cherries?. Encarnación Peralías

With it I have worked the ideas of happiness, abundance, to play, the real person....
In my imagination happiness must be something like to be very fresh and calm down of a cherry tree like a character of Chejov. I have hidden a piece of gold inside of one of the cherries because for me de real value of the person is inside but not in the appearances. So this is a game jewell and you can play with a child in this way: Could you find the little piece of gold, inside of the hard of one of the cherries?

Statement

I like that my works being in part a reflection of my private inner world, of which I extract emotions and feelings that inspire me at the moment of create spatial forms. When the time comes for working I do it without previous designs, and taking my feelings as a starting point. Later I allow myself to be swept by a great freedom and I let the jewel makes itself moment by moment. I change my direction with every step, I never take anything for granted.

Lately a material that I often like working with is the organdy because this textile allows me to develop ideas in which I am very interesting such as the extreme lightness, the spaciousness, intimate and spectacular, transparency and colour or adaptability. I use geometric forms that build big, soft and adaptable structures. I am interesting in floral forms too.

Due to my Art Dramatic education, theatre is always present in my works, because I like each jewel to be spectacular and unique but full of a sincere inward emotion.

Me gusta que mis trabajos sean en parte un reflejo de mi mundo interior y privado, de él extraigo emociones y sentimientos que me inspiran a la hora de crear formas espaciales. A la hora de trabajar, lo hago sin diseños previos y partiendo de mis sentimientos. Luego me dejo llevar por una gran libertad y permito que la joya se vaya haciendo a sí misma, momento a momento. Cambio de rumbo a cada paso, sin dar nunca nada por sentado.
Últimamente un material con el que me gusta trabajar frecuentemente es el organdí, pues este textil me permite desarrollar ideas que me interesan mucho como la ligereza extrema, la amplitud, lo íntimo y espectacular, fantasía, transparencia y color o adaptabilidad. Utilizo formas geométricas que construyen grandes estructuras, suaves y adaptables. También las formas florales me interesan.

Por ser mi formación teatral, el teatro siempre está presente en mis trabajos pues me gusta que cada joya sea espectacular y única pero llena de una emoción interna sincera.
