The open call for the 9th edition of Artistar Jewels, a project dedicated to artistic jewellery, is open and will culminate with the exhibition in the suggestive location of Palazzo Bovara from 19th to 22nd October 2023, during the Milano Jewelry Week.
Selections for Artistar Jewels, an international showcase for established artists and a springboard for emerging creatives, reopen! The international project that promotes artistic jewellery through publishing, the organization of events and the web is now in its ninth edition. More than 200 artists and designers will be selected and will become part of a wide-ranging international project that aims to create important commercial networks and stimulate dialogue and comparison between artists and industry experts, enhance the culture of jewellery, offer great visibility and create real business opportunities.
The one-of-a-kind kermesse highlights both established realities and talented artists through numerous initiatives: the exhibition in an exclusive historical location in the heart of Milan, the editorial publication distributed in the most important European bookshops containing professional photographic images of the creations selected, the annual communication disseminated in sector magazines, paper and digital magazines, newspapers and on the main social networks, the online sales channel overjewels.com, prizes and awards assigned by the international jury of Artistar Jewels, and the opportunity to participate at shows and exhibitions in galleries around the world.
The Artistar Jewels exhibition takes place from 19th to 22nd October 2023 in Palazzo Bovara, in conjunction with the Milanese Week which celebrates the history, tradition and innovation of the fascinating world of international jewellery and which includes over 150 widespread events throughout the historic centre of the city. Milano Jewelry Week gives life to moments of sharing and interaction, involving operators in the sector and at the same time bringing the vast public of curious and enthusiasts closer to the jewel with a rich calendar of events: exhibitions, presentations, workshops, talks, awards, live performances and vernissages.
The international volume Artistar Jewels, published by the publishing house Logo Fausto Lupetti Editore, is distributed in all Italian bookshops and the major European capitals. It is also sent to 5,000 important contacts in the sector all over the world: buyers, gallery owners, luxury boutiques, and fashion stylists, who through the catalogue will be able to discover innovative creations and choose talented artists for new collaborations.
Like every year, a jury of industry experts selects the artists who have stood out for their originality and design, awarding them important awards.
Artistar Jewels allows artists to undertake new collaborations with important realities scattered all over the world thanks to partnerships and synergies born with numerous commercial activities, concept stores and galleries of the calibre of Alice Floriano (Brazil), Galerie Beyond (Belgium), Bini Gallery (Australia), Babs Art Gallery (Italy), Eleni Marneri Galerie (Greece), Ezüstláz Galéria (Hungary) and Sculpture to wear Gallery (USA).
