On Klimt02 you can find all related information to this field, from exhibitions to a selection of artists and topical discussions in our forum. You can access an accurate database of schools, museums, institutions, galleries and jewellers and be kept up to date with the latest news.  In addition to this, we also have a section for awards, fairs and workshops so that you don’t miss out on exciting relevant opportunities.

This new klimt02 service is a commitment to expanding and professionalising the contemporary jewelry market.
Klimt02 thinks that professionalizing the market means defining the role of each of the actors that are part of it.
Klimt02 understands that sales should be through galleries and organizations professionally dedicated to this topic. However, we will accept the sale directly from artists who are not represented by any of these professional entities or have an agreement in this regard with the galleries they work with.
Klimt02's service consists of putting together retailers and customers.
All pieces on sale are selected under the criteria of Klimt02.

> Who can apply to become a member?
Anyone interested in the creative arts can apply to become a member of Klimt02 and enjoy the benefits. Students, curators, teachers, writers and any enthusiastic person are all welcome to join us. However, the contents of Klimt02 are based on a selection.
In order to become a member as a jeweller, you will first need to send us your personal statement along with a brief CV and a selection of around 10 images of your work.

We also include your updates and news in our newsletter, which is sent out every week to our subscribers and we use social networks such as Facebook to promote your profile and events.
Self-promotion through Klimt02 is easy: just make regular updates!
New works, exhibitions, workshops, books, catalogues... anything you do can be updated and that means more visibility.

As a member, you have access to all the information ( + 9500 items) compiled in our database. Log in and browse through exhibitions, open calls, awards, fairs, workshops, jewellers, galleries, museums, schools, critical articles, interviews and much more. We have been publishing, cataloguing, organizing and recording information since 2004 shaping more than a decade of the contemporary jewellery practice.
Use your member login to access and recover more than 8000 selected items only available by members.
Once logged in you can also make comments, appreciate and follow any item published on Klimt02.
Registered members also benefit by receiving a newsletter every week which features the latest updates and news published on the website.



 
> How do I RENEW my membership?
Renewing is easy. When your membership is coming up for its renewal date, you will receive an automatic e-mail from Klimt02 with the end date and a link to renew from. Members with communication and consultation services will, in addition to this, receive a statistical annual report detailing the monthly visits relating to each of your associated pages on Klimt02.
Klimt02 never renews member’s pages automatically, it will always be up to you as a member to decide whether or not you wish to renew.

Submitting information to us is easy: just send us an email. If the material is too heavy we also accept transfers via other sites such as Wetransfer, Hightail, Yousendit, Dropbox or similar.

For now, you cannot upload your own information. We are currently working on an exclusive members-only area where you will be able to access, upload, correct or add information. Once this section is available we will be able to email you with more information.


 
> What format and size should my images be in order to be published on Klimt02?
Images are very important at Klimt02, the higher the quality, the better they will look online.
We work with jpg images at 1200 pixels width and 72 dpi (web format) but will publish them online at different sizes.
If you are unsure about how to edit your images, just send them to us via Wetransfer, Hightail, Yousendit, Dropbox or similar and we will take care of it.
There are many tutorials online available through websites such as YouTube detailing how to re-format and change the scale of images using Photoshop, however, if you are still unsure or have any further questions please feel free to contact us at klimt@klimt02.net


 
> How can I publish a book or magazine on Klimt02?
If you would like your publication to be included in our database in order to communicate and sell it on our website, please contact us at klimt@klimt02.net. We will email you back with the detailed conditions as well as the material we need in order to upload and promote it.
 

 
> Can I use images published at Klimt02?
If you are teaching, studying or undertaking research, the material on Klimt02 is very useful. The images, texts and any other content on Klimt02 are copyrighted by the authors. Although the material is for non-commercial purposes we ask that you identify www.klimt02.net (with a link if possible) as the source of the images and of course include the author and details of the pictures.
