The IV Latin American Biennial of Contemporary Jewelry has opened calls for participation in the contest Co-Devenir: Narratives for Possible Futures and the simultaneous exhibitions in its four modalities.
Open Calls for the 4 Simultaneous Exhibitions
Deadline for registration: April 13, 2024

Modality A: Brave Route, spaces for art jewelry.
Alongside the contest, simultaneous exhibitions are central to each edition of the Biennial, as they allow showcasing the proposals generated in our countries in all their fullness. On this occasion, we include a new modality, Brave Route: Spaces for Art Jewelry, organized by the Chilean Association of Contemporary Jewelry Brava, which will be a circuit of exhibitions in Santiago de Chile from October 3 to 10, running parallel to the contest exhibition, in spaces throughout the city. This modality will present national and international exhibitions in person.
You can find all the details of the Brave Route call at the following link: Guidelines Brave Route: Spaces for Art Jewelry

Modality B: Buenos Artes
Argentine artists and residents in Argentina can participate in the classic Buenos Artes circuit, a journey that adorns the city of Buenos Aires with Contemporary Jewelry at each Biennial. You can read the call at the following link: Guidelines: Buenos Artes

Modality C: Jewels to the South
Another form of participation for exhibitions is 'Joyas al Sur'- Jewels to the South (in-person exhibitions in the participants' cities of origin). This modality allows any artist to participate with an in-person exhibition in their own city or town from any part of the world. The Biennial is a decentralized event where artists can exhibit in person in their cities of origin, bringing contemporary jewelry to new audiences within the respective realms of the creators.
