K2 Academy of Contemporary Jewellery has teamed up with the Human Skills Academy to present this 3-Part online course focusing on developing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurial thinking for creative businesses. Each workshop deals with different aspects of your professional development. The delivery of this course is interactive, inclusive and energetic, using commercial coaching and design thinking activities. We aim to challenge your existing ways of operating.
Workshop I - Managing Your Business through Professionalism & Resilience
Date and hours: 5 Feb 2021, 10 am - 1 pm (GMT)
The first course will enable you to understand and navigate the volatile, uncertain and complex world of today in order to be more effective in running your business.
Aims:
Workshop II - Developing Communication Skills & Effective Storytelling Methods
Date and hours: 12 Feb 2021, 10 am - 1 pm (GMT)
The second course will enable you to consider all aspects of communication and develop your skills in real time role-play.

Workshop III - Entrepreneurship Thinking & Complex Problem Solving
Date and hours: 19 Feb 2021, 10 am - 1 pm (GMT)
The third course will enable you to understand how a creative mind-set helps you to solve complex problems and find effective solutions.
Aims:
These workshops are aimed at start-ups and experienced professional makers, jewellery artists and crafts people from all parts of the world who are interested in growing their business to the next level. Participants are expected to be interactive and open-minded.
The workshop will be streamed online using Zoom platform and will be accessible via your computer or mobile device. Access will be allowed via a link that you will receive prior to the course. There will be a maximum of 14 participants in each workshop.
Cost: £210 (approx. 236 €)
Registration is required via email. The payment of the invoice that will be sent to you is required via bank transfer.
Workshop instructors:
Jewellery designer and creative Tina Lilienthal, and consultant and commercial coach Jo Beardsworth are the founders of the Human Skills Academy. They offer years of experience, insight and knowledge of working and developing personal and business performance within the creative and jewellery industry. Central to their approach is not just the creation of unique business programmes but they understand how people learn, and the importance of critical, creative and reflective thinking in growing a business. Their diverse experience within the industry ranges from design collaborations with Paul Smith, Anthropologie, Nordstrom x Nike; consulting and coaching at Dinny Hall, Mastered x Stella McCartney and several Drapers Award-winning fashion showrooms. They are currently delivering personal and professional development programmes at London College of Fashion, Central Saint Martins, and Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design.

- Change perspectives to gain a more holistic viewpoint
- Develop functional creativity to aid your decision-making
- Understand and apply creative and divergent thinking tools
- Think like an entrepreneur to successfully navigate the new marketplace
