New Museum Director Friederike Zobel at Pforzheim's Jewellery Museum and Technical Museum

Originally from Munich, the cultural expert aims to strengthen and further expand existing networks and collaborations. It is important to her to further develop both museums in terms of their social relevance and cultural appeal in the region and beyond. With her preference for Germany’s south-west, she is looking forward to new tasks and exciting encounters.

Friederike Zobel has extensive experience in strategic museum development, cultural management and cultural education. Most recently, she was Head of Communication and Education at the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin. Prior to that, she managed several programmes at the German Federal Cultural Foundation, including dive in. Programme for Digital Interactions, the thematic focus on Bauhaus 2019 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus and KUR Conservation and Restoration of Mobile Cultural Assets.
