Lina Peterson News

Published: 28.11.2013

Lit up windows late in to the evenings all around me is a clear sign that Open Studios is just around the corner. I hope to see some of you here for what is always a special weekend with lots of amazing work, a great atmosphere and mulled wine.
It's been a busy autumn with exhibitions in Helsinki, Paris and Australia and it's going to be a busy winter as I begin to make for both Schmuck2014 and COLLECT. Watch this space!
In September I also started as Lecturer in Contemporary Jewellery at UCA Rochester, a wonderful role in a great department.
You can keep up to date with exhibitions and work in progress on my facebook page or follow me on twitter @LinaJewellery.

Winter Open Studios
Come and join me for Open Studios at the Chocolate Factory N16 on the 30th Nov and 1st Dec, 11am - 6pm. Private View evening on Friday the 29th Nov 6.30-9.30 with mulled wine in our cobbled courtyard. Open studios is a chance to visit our lovely studios and to buy straight from me and my fellow neighbours, who include ceramists Aneta Regel and Akiko Hirai and textile artist Vanessa Rolf. More details and map available here. Hope to see you here!

White Out -CAA
Contemporary Applied Arts currently hold a new collection of my painted and carved wooden jewellery and included in their current exhibition White Out are three new wooden and resin brooches. If you haven't been to see their new space on Southwark Street this is a great opportunity to do so.
