. Plastic is all around us, but it loses its value easily once thrown away. My project is about reversing devaluation- turning trash into a resource full of potential, beauty and luxury. I’m using laundry softeners caps, made of HDPE. On my silversmith’s table, it becomes equal to gold and silver. “POLY” turns into “PEARL”, trash becomes a gemstone.
