Antonella Villanova creates an energetic dialogue between Art and Decorative arts by making the two inseparable, while respecting their individual characteristics. Visit them at Collect 2011.
Relaunched at the Saatchi Gallery in May 2009, COLLECT has an enviable reputation as a premier, annual fair for contemporary craft. Through its presentation of work from the best international applied artists, COLLECT has become a prestigious event in the international cultural calendar gaining the respect and support of many private collectors, museum curators and galleries.
The Antonella Villanova space was conceived in 2007 within the established contemporary art venue Alessandro Bagnai Gallery. Antonella Villanova creates an energetic dialogue between Art and Decorative arts by making the two inseparable, while respecting their individual characteristics. The gallery has a rich section devoted to jewellery showing pieces signed by Kiki Smith as well as innovative creations by Peter Bauhuis, Lucia Massei, Ruudt Peters, and others working in the inspiring atmosphere of ancient Florentine masterpieces.
