Intro
Galleri Hnoss is proud to present Lin Cheung. Cheung's work often refers to jewellery as a subject and to the fundamental reasons why people wear and possesses jewellery.
Lin Cheungs relation to jewellery is above all conceptual. Her work refers often to jewellery as a subject and to the fundamental reasons why people wear and possesses jewellery. She investigates what lies behind the mere decorative objects and the relationship between humans and their items.

Papaver Argentum is one of Cheungs recent projects and refer to the poppy as a symbol of peace. The objects that in shape reminds of poppy flowers are casted clay impressions, taken from a damaged wall in V & A museum in London. The wall was damaged during the blitz of the second world war and has been left as a memorial.
