Artist list

Teng Fei, Jack Cunningham
'Narrative is one of the core concepts and practices in the area of contemporary jewellery. A piece of jewellery could become a language to express the maker’s personal emotion or thinking. However, the piece is never complete until it encounters a stranger as the wearer or the viewer, and disclose or reproduce the story with them. To Strangers therefore attempts to explore the role a piece of jewellery plays in the process of communication. The two artists differ in their cultural background and personal experience, as well as the practice of jewellery making, which enables us to fully appreciate their works and to take part in their visual dialogue.'
