Artist list
Per Suntum
Gallery Hnoss proudly presents the Danish jewellery artist Per Suntum.
The basis for my work with jewellery is the singular moment, where man meets material and purpose stirs the soul into expression.
Per Suntum is an internationally admired jewellery artist. One of the reasons is his great knowledge about the potential of material. With precision and sensibility, he creates poetic jewellery with organic shapes. He is interested in creating a surface that reflects the richness and the raw elegance that we see in nature.
Per Suntum lives and works as a Jewellery artist on Bornholm. He is a graduated goldsmith from Hans Hansen Silver smithy 1965 with silver medal. For long periods he has travelled in North Africa and Asia and studied for some time philosophy in India. His work is included in many collections and he has received numerous awards including the Danish Arts Foundation's Life Long Granting and The price of Distinction from Inga and Ejvind Kold Christensen´s Foundation.
