A Bore of Ring. Self-talk & Critical Practice to Wear and to Make by Ray Zheng
Published: 14.03.2024
I am (was) a jeweller. I expect this note to be my daily record so that I can better locate my current confusion, understand the disciplines of my design and plan to solve it. I talk about the meanings of jewellery and try to understand why I don’t wear them anymore.
If you are reading this, please use it as a handbook to run over my understanding, of dismantling, and restructuring of jewellery. If you are not interested in research, there’s no harm in looking at it as an atlas of object narratives.
