Intro
Dark Side of Imagination is a retrospective exhibition dedicated to the Estonian jeweller Kadri Mälk (1958-2023), presented at the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design (ETDM) between November 2025 and April 2026. This review by Cristina Filipe examines Mälk’s work as a singular contribution to contemporary jewellery, where material, body and spirituality converge in a practice that resists fixed interpretation.
