Head and face, amongst various body parts, maybe the domains less frequented by jewelers. However, this doesn't signify an absence of works inspired by these areas. Gijs Bakker delves into the concept of individual irreplaceability in Profile Ornament (1974), a modern-style headpiece encircling the wearer's head. Otto Künzli, in pursuit of enhancing the wearer, posits that nowhere in the body is more eloquent of that person than the face and hangs picture frames from the necks of six women in Beauty Gallery (1984).
