The Goldsmiths’ Centre appoints Julia Balchin as Director and Richard Reid as Chair of the Board of Trustees

The Goldsmiths’ Centre has announced the appointment of Julia Balchin as its new Director and Richard Reid as Chair of Trustees today, marking an exciting new chapter for the London-based charity. Together, they will help to build on the Goldsmiths’ Centre’s growing reputation as a national centre of excellence for learning, innovation and enterprise, growing the skills, talent and businesses that will shape the future of the jewellery and silversmithing industries.

Realised through the support of its primary funder, the Goldsmiths’ Foundation, the establishment of the Goldsmiths’ Centre remains the Goldsmiths’ Company’s largest single investment in the craft, trade and industry to date.
