Most of the time the use of textiles and by extension the practice of pattern cutting fabric, isn’t extended much further than being an encasing for the body. My work explores how working in textiles and creating structure with the material can be pushed further, developing ways that they can be an adornment on the body rather than being limited by conventional or domestic uses.
