On 12 July 2026, the contemporary jewellery world lost one of its quiet yet defining figures. In Germany and far beyond, Jürgen Eickhoff's influence has shaped generations of artists, galleries and institutions. Goldsmith, artist, gallerist and co-founder of Galerie Spektrum in Munich, Jürgen Eickhoff is leaving behind more than five decades of dedication to artists and to the development of contemporary jewellery.
