The Pearl. The Origins of the Myth
Published: 13.04.2023

The pearl, a precious object with its own codes and language, conveys destinies and transmits memories. Because of the values that man has conferred on it, it has penetrated closely into the lives of humans.
This article is the result of my research during my internship at Klimt02. The path of my work around the Pearl is presented in 3 parts. The Pearl Necklace. Not just a range of beads is the main article about the pearl necklace in the contemporary jewellery field. Followed by the second The Pearl. The Origins of the Myth which helps to understand its enchanting genesis. All accompanied by the last The Pearl. Its Representations Through Time focused on how it crossed time and trends.
