. Window Shopping is about luxury objects, mainly jewellery and their meaning as status symbols. l wanted to steal and so devalue jewellery and luxury objects via photogrammetry. So l went to the Kónigsallee in Düsseldorf, one of the most expensive shopping streets in Germany and watched the shopping windows of the big jewellers and luxury shops. l took photographs of classic and very expensive jewellery and objects. A software stitched them together to a 3D sobject. So l was able to steal these objects and to devalue them. Everyone can take everywhere Everything! This thought was amazing for me. Of course the results are not the same like the original and they have mistakes and manipulated parts but it's good that they carry those traces of the robbery in theirselves. The pieces question also: Do l need the original? What is the original? lsn't it fine to be able to use and appropiate existing forms, objects, files, texts where ever l am and transform them into something new? Things get totally new values if you take them out of their traditional context. l used most contemporary techniques in a basic and experimental way, the computer was my „working bench". After the 3D print l coated the jewellery with the most traditional jewellery material: Gold.
