Across the moutain and the sky Tibet by Duan Yanli

"To me, jewelry is the best tool to keep my diary. This is my Graduation Creative Work which inspired from Tibetan clothes after my trip to Tibet in 2012. Instead of using traditional material and technique, I truncated, deconstructed the textile, added found objects to express my way concept of Chinese Ethic Contemporary Jewelry. I made over 20 pieces including necklace, brooch, ring and head piece. I added more than one function into one piece to make it more flexible for wearer." - Duan Yanli
