. The inspiration for my graduate collection began with a focus on fashion and textile techniques in fabric and developed into a series of conceptual pieces using the technique of French knitting with wire. Coming from a fine art background, I drew inspiration from classical still life paintings I found visually stimulating and delved into the research behind the hidden meanings of the fruits included and the ancient mythologies which reference them. .
