Capsicia by Jillian Moore

Object

When making objects that are autonomous from the body, they cease to operate within the confines of jewelry-as-appendage and begin to develop a more distinct identity. I enjoy the implication of independence that can be ascribed to free standing objects. It can be fun to step out of the format of jewelry making to see what shakes loose.
