Inspired by the life of suffering of Frida Kahlo it has been the aim to create an object deforming the body. The focus is on her medical history in physical as well as in mental terms. In the sense of "deformation“ corrective and supportive medical devices, which are important to my workpiece are briefly captured, these are objects restricting mobility, forcing into a certain position or cause transformation in personal appearance.
