Triptico Art Pod Installation
The body of Nicola Civiero is covered in tattoos: mainly phrases from mystical texts which define his beliefs. The artist is photographing each word on his skin and Art Pod is printing them on mother pearl. The idea is to atomize Civiero's body around the world providing a new form of eucharist between an artist, his work and those who engage with it. The collectors who wear a piece of Civiero's body will be able to connect and geo-localize to one another and to the artist: visualize his diaspora of the flesh on their Iphone App's map.
