ELIRD
The main characteristics of ELIRD creations are unique, one-of-a-kind, technically and artistically very demanding and completely handmade rings. The techniques applied, such as reverse carving (negative intaglio) in gemstones, which is a carving technique form the reverse side of the (semi)precious stone, subsequently miniature oil paintings in the size of the rice grain, as well as the paintings are done from the negative side of the gemstone, where the color is applied in inverse order (from the front to the background) are very demanding and rarely seen techniques, characteristic for the royal collections. ELIRD jewellery creations are created by a long lasting and dedicated process, which often lasts for several weeks. Apart from one-of-a-kind rings, ELIRD duo creates sculptural jewellery, as well as other adornments like necklaces, watches, sunglasses and earrings.

ELIRD jewellery explores life in every single way – from birth to death, with all the love, hate, happiness, sadness, excitement, good, bad, care, prosper, decline, lightness, darkness and numerous other conditions and situations that we all are exposed to during our lifetime. Each ELIRD creation is unique and inimitably designed, making them a significant art piece. The unprecedented esthetics of ELIRD jewellery derives from a prosperous mélange of artistic and design skills. ELIRD jewellery designs are the fusion of different and rich backgrounds, both collaborating in making profound and wonderful jewellery designs. All of the ELIRD creations are made carefully, with loads of love.

Ena and Ebrahim are members of the Association of Fine Artists of Applied Arts and Designers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and British Association for Contemporary Jewellery.
