Artist list
Alexandra Bahlmann, Frank Meurer, Diana Stegmann
Alexandra Bahlmann:
Bahlmann's work is developed from two new types of chains and explored their collage-like asymmetric compositions. Her jewellery combines various stringing techniques of metal link chains with elements of colour and texture from gemstones. The opulent silhouettes of the works intentionally encourage associations to costume jewellery or historical prototypes, however they are different: Translated into a personal form language, innovative, contemporary, subtle and wearable in everyday life.
Frank Meurer:
Meurer's works are unique studioglass objects which mostly use different techniques like graal or reticello to create strong visual or mirror effects, so that you often need a second view to identify which of the visible patterns is real and which one is not.
Diana Stegmann:
Stegmann's objects “Baskets” show an new approach to willow weaving cause the willowends which are normaly weaved in, are all used to point out so that the vessels get a totally different new surface and a sculptural outlook.
