This winter we present Alloy - Wearable Art, an exhibition of nineteen jewellery makers. No embellishment, but honest craftsmanship: carefully made, with respect for the material.
Artist list
Venasca Arthur, Idiko Danfalvi, Tatjana Giorgadse, Elena Gorbunova, Hartog & Henneman, Mielle Harvey, Maria Hees, Herman Hermsen, Beppe Kessler, Margo Nelissen, Julia Obermaier, Annelies Planteydt, Moniek Schrijer, Sander Stada, Laura Stefani and de Modefee, Rinske van der Heuvel, Felieke van der Leest
The collection shows refined objects alongside bold forms. The maker’s hand is visible in technique and choice of materials. Each work testifies to dedication to craft.
Jewellery can be more than decoration — it shows human skill and carries meaning. For those interested in craftsmanship or curious about contemporary jewellery art: take the time to look.
Alloy brings together nineteen makers who each explore in their own way what wearable art can achieve. From subtle to outspoken, from traditional to experimental. Material, form and technique come together in work made to be worn — or to be contemplated.
The exhibition has been realized in collaboration with Gallery Door, which represents nine makers. Their participation enriches the presentation and shows the strength of exhibiting together.
Come visit, look around at your leisure. Let the works speak to you.
Opening hours: Tuesday-Saturday 11 AM - 5 PM
