Alternating Rhythm by Elena Martinelli and Lavinia Rossetti

Alternating Rhythm is an exhibition which frames the chance meeting of the work of Elena Martinelli and Lavinia Rossetti. This exhibition is characterized by the two jewellery makers’ similar approach to making and rhythm as common denominator. Their artistic practices are influenced by the idea of progressive rhythm where the same elements are repeated and continuously changing in size, shape and texture. By showing a sequential alternation of their work, the exhibition hopes the two makers’ different perceptions of progressive rhythms can form a dialogue.
