The idea to establish a "golden" group, space Au+ resulted spontaneously from the will to continue our acquaintance and from our need to share the topics of our discussions and our emotions with an audience through the best means of expression for us, namely jewellery.
Artist list
Marcin Bogusław, Bartosz Chmielewski, Filip Jackowski, Michał Wysocki
Au + is a space connecting four artists: Marcin Bogusław, Bartosz Chmielewski, Filip Jackowski, Michał Wysocki. Two years ago group presented in Legnica exhibitions Temptation. This year they come back with the project Pink Pig in Ink.
We all met in the Jewellery Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź in 2006. The many meetings at both school and later between classes created a special situation which could not exist in other conditions, which gave us no choice but to discuss various topics - confrontations with our outlook on the world… These peculiar connections, in which we were, getting acquainted with each other, let us move into more and more extraordinary spaces…
