The renowned Turin gallery, located in via Carlo Alberto, chooses the Istituto Europeo di Design for its project Young, dedicated to emerging talents, and will host the unique pieces created by Francesca Locati, Clara Morganti, Mu Zhang, Vlada Goretskaya, Anping Huang and Francesca Zilli, all students in the third year of Jewerly Design at IED Milan.
 
The partnership, whose objective is precisely to allow students to deal with a reality external to the school, encourage them to understand the dynamics of the jewelry market and introduce them to the future career path, as per the DNA of the IED training method.
The choice of collaboration between Creativity Oggetti and IED is therefore based on a dynamic shared vision: the Turin gallery led by Susanna Maffini strongly believes in creativity and experimentation and since 2001 has placed the spotlight on international makers whose practice focuses on the definition of a personal artistic language and on the realization of hight quality hand-crafted body ornaments.
 
The three-year course in Jewelry Design at IED, coordinated by Giulia Savino, aims to train jewelry designers with a experimental approach able to read social changes and translate them into innovative products, giving importance to the collective consciousness as much to the materials and production processes.
 
The 6 collections of the students on display, developed in the design course led by Caterina Zanca, all stand out for their high symbolic and expressive content, coherently translated in the pieces, as well as for the research into materials and processes.
