Artist list

Marcia Cirne
These are pieces made with selected things, kept and holden always at hand in the jeweler's studio, many boxes contain fragments of objects, whose nature has already been modified by someone else, and form a sort of collection of possibilities.

Wooden latches, bobbins, turned wood, safety pins, weights, Kayapó indigenous smoking pipe, horn rings, packaging prints, bakelite cranks, rare or unimportant things are connected with silver and copper, by wires, plates, pins, clips, threads. These combinations result in unusual necklaces, rings, brooches, products of a craft that is intentionally poetic.
Unique pieces, handcrafted, made to be used.
