Artist list

Paula Crespo, Marc Monzó
Marc Monzó is a Catalan artist, trained at the Massana School of Barcelona and one of the most active and recognized jewellers of the new generation. His work, which he shows in Reverso since his solo exhibition in 2005, is appreciated for its delicacy and accuracy. His pieces, usually small-scale, need not be used for special occasions because, as Ward Schrijver* said, the jewels of Marc Monzó are "reserved, austere, modest and intellectual."

The contrast could not be greater, and this may be the challenge of this exhibition.

Paula Crespo, founder and owner of Reverso, exposes jewels that do not want to pass unnoticed, that call for attention and require an active participation of the user in a time that is considered and suggested as “the” special moment. The majority of the pieces consist of assemblages of modules / links, of simple or more complex structures, constructions that close in themselves the time of their creation.
