This jewelry exhibition is about relations, being present or absent. Janne Krogh Hansen explores these states and through jewelry brings them to life in new ways and combinations, for instance by presenting them interacting with everyday objects.

The goal is to provide the viewer with small encounters or glimpses of the complexity that arises between people and things, and the actual relationship between them, whether it may be present or absent. Absence in this sense revealing/suggesting/meaning whether someone, or something, is missing, or not present, while nearness reflects actually being physically and mentally engaged; attention, interest, love or compassion, which a human being shows.

Janne Krogh Hansen seeks to reveal fragments of these perceptions, and initial impressions, which come as flashes, merging them together into new jewelry and objects.
