NAU was the generic name given to ships used for long voyages up to the XV century. It is natural to search for other lands and experiences.

After all, what is it that leads us to explore the unknown?
Delimit new territories, dominate other people?
When we anchor in an unknown place, do we see what presents itself or what we project?
That which is exotic to me, is not exotic to you.
Smell the perfume of new plants, imagine an untouched place. Virgin.
What treasures may be hidden there, how many secrets were cast into the sea?
Which hands remain concealed on deck?
Who are in fact the savages?
Bartering, collecting, survival.
Seeking symbols in order to communicate is what sets us apart from animals, as Lévi-Straus would say.
