Nexus II is the second chapter of an exhibition project dedicated to contemporary art jewellery as a tactile, material, and symbolic practice. The title, Nexus, from Latin, evokes the idea of a connection — between matter and form, body and object, gesture and thought.
Artist list
Yael Herman, Josephine Kang, Meira Rauta
The exhibition brings together 30 one-of-a-kind pieces by three emerging voices in the international scene: Josephine Kang, Meira Rauta and Yael Herman.
Each artist explores metal and unconventional materials through personal, poetic approaches, challenging the traditional boundaries of wearable art.
Nexus II focuses on touch as both a physical and emotional experience. The jewellery object becomes not only something to be touched, but something that touches: a conduit for memory, identity, and encounter. The body is not just a support, but an active participant in the aesthetic dialogue.
Visitors are invited to engage with jewellery that oscillates between sculpture and adornment, intimacy and expression. The pieces are meant to be worn, collected, and most importantly, felt — on the skin and beyond.
The exhibition opens on June 6th with a vernissage featuring the presence of two of the artists, that will take place at 18:30.
Exhibition open until August 2, 2025.
Free admission.
