The goldsmith and art historian Pura Ferreiro presents her perfectly crafted and formally designed pieces of jewellery in the portrait in the shop.

The jewellery artist, who has had a studio in Munich since 1995, was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1965. In 1992 she passed her master's examination in goldsmithing and later studied art history and archaeology at the LMU in Munich (Bachelor 2013). Since 2014, she has held a teaching position for granulation at the Technical School for Glass and Jewellery in Kaufbeuren Neugablonz. In 2018, she finally completed her M.A. (Master of Arts) in art history; her master's thesis dealt with granulation and its artistic interpretations in 20th and 21st-century jewellery.


In addition to granulation, to which she has devoted herself for 30 years now and which she celebrates with the production of precious individual pieces, she also creates small series in silver that borrow their basic forms from the world of plants. The pieces of jewellery inspired by lampion, lotus, lychee and other little fruits fascinate with their lightness and clear design. Pura Ferreiro presents her work at international exhibitions and fairs and works with numerous galleries and jewellers worldwide.
