Intro
This exhibition showcases how by replicating or using found objects Erik Lijzenga, explores the intimate, banal or everyday relationship people have with the stuff that surrounds them.

Erik Lijzenga
Erik’s work revolves around the world of objects that surround us on a daily basis. By working with discarded and found objects, he explores the way they are made, used and discarded. By seeing the beauty in the interactions we have with our objects and exploiting the inherent symbolism that objects contain, he aims to revalue the connection we have with our belongings.

Erik Lijzenga, 33, is a jeweller and sculptor who holds a BA in Product Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts and an MA in Gemstones and Jewellery from Hochschule Trier in Idar-Oberstein and works in Arnhem, the Netherlands.


Opening with drinks: 2nd of October 17:00 - 20:00 h.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday 12:00-18:00 h.
