The structure is molecular. Each of our sixteen members enters into two separate one-on-one collaborations with fellow members, producing one or two pieces per partnership. The visual language of the project reflects this directly: we work with the structural symbol of H₂O as our graphic reference, one element bonded to two others, because it captures precisely this logic of singular connection multiplying outward into something cohesive and alive.

The title draws its meaning from scale and belonging. You may picture several drops of water coming together to float and explore the vastness of the ocean. These drops are united and become indissociable, and yet they remain fluid as a whole. On the larger scale, they are both isolated and immersed in the vast blue, creating some kind of drifting utopia. Each collaboration is its own bond; together they form a molecule; together the molecules form the pool; and the pool moves, as it always has, through open water.

What interests us in this format is what emerges at the intersection of the intimate and the collective. A one-on-one collaboration is exposed, particular, shaped by direct chemistry between two people. But here, none of these pairs exists in isolation, each is part of a larger structure that only becomes visible when you step back and see the whole. The resulting exhibition is not simply a collection of jointly made objects. It is a wearable diagram of a community: a record of who bonded with whom, what passed between them, and how sixteen individual practices can be held together by something as simple, and as powerful, as connection.
