Deeply rooted in their country’s traditions, yet resolutely contemporary in their artistic approach, they explore materials as diverse as copper, resin, wool, organza, horsehair, and used deodorant roll-ons…
They define themselves as jewelers, identifying as artisans as much as artists, and their works tell a story of lived experience and a strong connection to their homeland, Chile.
Ana, Maca, Rita, Yael, Monoco, Vania, and Valeria are the seven magical ingredients of a high-octane artistic cocktail that invites you to let go of your preconceptions.


Participant Artists: 
- Ana Nadjar, whose artistic approach focuses on working with the absurd and contradictions, seeking to surprise the viewer by offering new interpretations of an object through her creativity and unique vision, giving value to the insignificant.

- Macarena Hott-Recondo, based in the south of France for the past 25 years and a member of the Syndicat des Métiers d’Art (Ateliers d’art de France) since 2021.

- Mónica Pérez Gutiérrez, known as Monoco and a member of Joya Brava, has taken part in exhibitions both in Chile and across Europe, the United States and South America and was selected in 2019 for Enjoiat Barcelona, a renowned art jewellery exhibition and competition.

- Rita Soto Ventura, founder of LAJOIA Escuela de Joyería, has led collective initiatives and directs the 4th Latin American Biennial of Contemporary Jewellery in Chile (2024). Her practice explores the field through horsehair micro-basketry, where weaving, memory and the body converge.

- Valeria Martínez Nahuel (Chile) is a goldsmith and visual artist with over thirty years’ experience in contemporary jewellery. Her work focuses on filigree as a sculptural language, engaging with metal through a contemporary approach linked to nature, memory and place.

- Vania Ruiz (Chile) is an architect and contemporary jewellery artist. Since 2010, she has been developing a practice that combines craftsmanship, material research and cultural reflection. Her work explores popular expressions, domestic memory and the local landscape, incorporating industrial materials as the raw materials of our era.

- Yael Olave, Chilean jewellery artist based in Barcelona, has been exhibited in numerous international initiatives. She was selected for the prestigious Schmuck 2024 in Munich, and for Enjoia’t 2018 by A-FAD. She is a board member of A-FAD and Artesania Catalunya, and co-founder of the Chilean artistic platform La Brújula Arte en Tránsito.
