Pierre Charpin
Pierre Charpin, an internationally renowned French designer and visual artist, has been exploring the world of jewelry since 2018 in collaboration with MiniMasterpiece.

For the Kulubá collection (named after a Mayan archaeological site discovered in 1939, whose aerial view, with its countless intersecting alleys, evokes the design of his jewels), Pierre Charpin has retained the design of a freehand line, a way of accentuating the tactile dimension of the object one is about to grasp—a necklace, brooch, or earring.

From the irregular grid emerges a series of small spaces, of varying sizes, left empty or filled with color. In the areas filled with bright or darker colors, Charpin creates a poetic rhythm, a free composition where the eye explores the labyrinth. In the empty spaces, conversely, Charpin invites us to freely complete the sequence: the surface of fabric or skin will complete the composition.
