According to Zapotec belief, the gods bestowed upon humanity the five senses: sight, taste, touch, smell, and hearing. These gifts have since woven themselves into the collective memory of the Mexican people.

Each piece in the exhibition will appeal to a specific sense of the audience, linked to an aspect of Mexican culture.

From one piece to the next, visitors will be able to explore a vast array of images and colors, scents, flavors, materials, and sounds. These awakened senses will serve as the key to unlocking memories.
A sensory pause that serves as an opportunity to reconnect with the body.

Opening on thursday october 1st 2026 from 18:00 to 21:00
October 3rd at 5:00 PM, a lecture exploring the History of Mexican Jewelry.
October 5th at 12:00 PM, participate in a workshop Filigree Evocation by Sylvia Burgoa and Yesenia Salgado.
October 6th at 10:00 AM, take a guided tour of the exhibition in the presence of the artists.
