De Novembre

Four jewelers reunite across two cities, Berlin and Paris, to celebrate an enduring friendship by materializing the thread that binds them.
Artist list
Miriam Arentz, Edith Bellod, Susanne Matsché, Ruth Temur
Our paths between France and Germany may have taken different directions over the years, but the connection between us has never faded. From the Berlin studio where our friendship began to the Parisian boutique De Novembre that now hosts us, a close exchange has continued to grow. Between both cities – through meetings, conversations, and shared projects – we’ve been inspiring each other and learning from one another’s experiences.
As a celebration of our reunion, we decided to reflect on the links between us – and to make them visible through contemporary jewellery. Using line as a common language, we each express this connection in our own way and bring out the essence of what moves us.
Participant Artists:
- Miriam Arentz's practice centres on guilloché, exploring the possibilities of this precise and historically rooted technique in contemporary jewellery.
- Ruth Temur combines traditional goldsmithing techniques with historic jewellery-making processes, drawing inspiration from the machines and forms of the past.
- Edith Bellod combines her background in textiles and jewellery with ceramics, exploring the dialogue between these different materials and disciplines.
- Susanne Matsché is dedicated to filigree, exploring its intricate structures through her own jewellery practice and through teaching workshops internationally.
Opening reception on Thursday, October 1st 2026, from 18:00 to 21:00
Opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 11:00 to 19:00. Sunday, 14:00 to 18:00
