For the first time Galerie Biro shows an artist both in her gallery, and as guest in the neighbouring gallery Jordanow. Peter Bauhuis will show jewellery with Biro and his very new vessel work next door.

The Thesauros was the treasure house of the ancient Greeks. The thesaurus is also a dictionary, a collection of references. Bauhuis shows new treasures, such as chain sculptures and mathematical jewellery and vessels made of materials with history in two exhibitions.
Chains and flowers.
Chains that are cast in one piece. Is that possible?
The small sculptures are objects and jewellery at the same time. They are cast from silver, gold and bronze in the technique of lost shape. On closer inspection, the trees in various colurs turn out to be large-looped chains cast in one piece. You have to cut them from the object tree, to put the resulting jewellery around your neck. The object has the potential to the chain, the portable chain carries the memory of its origin. On the table these chains have a great graphical conciseness, are geometric and floral at the same time.
