The multiple meanings, conscious and unconscious of these works, balanced between innovation and reinterpretation, connect, in a stratification of different and complex languages, those who wear them to the social context with which they relate, enhancing the uniqueness of their personality. In this exhibition, the research jewel of Corrado De Meo and the designer accessory of the bag artist designer Emanuela Monti come together to reflect beyond homologation.

Corrado De Meo uses papier maché, a material produced with waste paper collected on the street at the end of one of his many recycling processes, fascinated by the idea that this poor material without a significant identity, through a conscious act, can become something else taking on, through the creative act, a value and a meaning that goes beyond the original material of which his works are made. In Emanuela Monti the creative process arises from the need to elaborate silent sensations, emotions, stories that float in the intimate darkness of the body. The language of colour and the gesture that expresses  is a silent song, dark or bright, calmly monochrome or exuberant, rigorous or multifaceted, that wants to emerge with determination.

The colour and shape of the container-emblem that she creates is the place where instinct tries to protect the saving power of spontaneity, of personal truth, which exposes the multiplicity and contradictory of which she is, and we are, composed.
