(...) The „trees above“ pieces : maybe some small stories like those. In the best way, they are pieces you wouldnt be surprised to find under a tree. Would you? (...)

I am thinking a lot about the limitation of growth and that i always felt that growing and roundness might be the same.
But eventually i learn on the news, that growing means more, better, higher...towards a nonexisting pik...and that it must go on forever...mmh?
Arent we born to grow older every second? Towards an end?
Or towards eternity if you prefer?
First, we grow big and strong, then wise and mild. Then we die.
Sounds pretty well thought - pretty simple.
My recent work deals with the questions of growing:
personal, global, scalewise, colourwise and materialwise.
Pieces that deal with repetition - slowly growing bigger, stronger or weeker—shapes and structures inspired by things you think of spending time under a tree:
Clouds and leaves. Stones, mud and gras.
I have this Berlin friend, both of enjoying a so called Datscha (small summerhouse) outside of the City.
When we remeet in Berlin, we tell eachother our „best nature experience“.
Mine was, seeing a 85 year old farmer mowing his piece of land for hey - using some sulky style old fashion cutting machine. In tow by two crazy horses.
He would manage to mow a big piece of land within two hours, using his muscles, his voice and a lifetime of experiecne to stirr this energetic horses in an incredibly accurate way-
My friends "best experience“ was seeing caterpillars, clinching together - biting heads into tale to cross a big free field. It must have been at least 25 caterpillars floating along the way like a giant snake. No birds around curageous enough to attack!
