We Human by Virginia Escobar, Roberta Consalvo Sances and Amanda Stumpf
Published: 28.02.2025

Three artists of different nationalities come together to present their bodies of work in this edition of Munich Jewelry Week. United by their studies at the Alchimia Jewelry School in Florence and a deep friendship, they investigate elements of the human condition.
Artist list
Roberta Consalvo Sances, Virginia Escobar, Amanda Stumpf
These three narratives, artistically unique and distinct from each other, share a common aspiration: to conduct conceptual research through the experimentation of new materials and the exploration of techniques such as weaving, hand printing, and chiseling.
Virginia's work, "What’s Behind," focuses on identity, examining how the pandemic altered our appearance and the way we recognize each other. Roberta’s body of work, “Anhelitus," delves into the emotional tension generated by the force of constriction. Amanda’s series, "Weaving Resilience," draws connections between ancient times and the present, illustrating the timeless nature of human strength and resilience.
Together, these artists weave a tapestry of contemporary jewelry that reflects their diverse perspectives and shared commitment to exploring the depths of the human experience.
